Can anyone recommend a good place to have my griffith serviced in or near west London?

Also is it essential to use a TVR dealer for the service? I know a good mechanic that can do the work for a lot less - how important is it for the resale value to have the TVR stamp?

thanks

there's a lot of people who have absolutley no problem with cars serviced by specialists. There's a good core of recognised specialists and service books with their stamps in are as good as books with dealer stamps. Books with "Johnny & Mick's TVR servicing" stamped in them might not be so convincing so I guess it is a case of choose your specialist carefully.

Dave Batty does mine and lots on here have their cars serviced by him too. He's a bit further afield for you Nr Guildford. But I'm sure someone here will have a recommendation for West London way. Tower View perhaps in Nth London?

Dave Batty's at The Garage, Compton, Nr Guildford and situated adjacent to the A3.

His telephone number is 01483811995. He won a PistonHeads award this year for being a great independent. Recommendations don't come much higher than that!

Please pass him my best wishes if you call him

No, they run those slam door trains down to Guildford, you'd never get the Griff on..........

Dave Batty is a good recommendation, I reckon that a Dave Batty serviced V8 will be as good as a dealer service history in the years to come. Say hello from all of us!!!

Cab to Guildford was just over a tenner each way.
