Door glass loose?
Discussion
The driver's door glass has started making a worrying knocking sound whenever I pull the door shut - which of course needs quite a slam. Sounds like the glass is hitting something hard and metallic. Anyone know of any common problems on Griff' doors - like the glass runner becoming loose inside the door or something? Rich...
Yeah back channel, i could reach with some long tweezers so i took the easy option. In fact i dont think taking the door cover off would of helped. I see a similar thread on Chimaera.

Hmm?! "They all do that, Sir"
Actually, do they all do that? Mine rattles at about the middle of its drop. I tend to solve the problem by rolling it right down (let's face it the cabin will have steamed up within three minutes if I don't - especially in the rain!).
Have not found it necessary to use a high degree of force to close the door securely though??? Is that the real problem?

MY glass in the passenber door use to rattle when shutting the door or driving with the LID off.
Found the rubber strip inside the bottom of the door, managed to slide it back down the ali guide with a metal coat hanger pushing the rubber down, with the window down,a bit fiddle-E but seems ok know.
