Can anyone reccommend a decent trolley jack low enough to fit under a TVR and gentle enough to not damage chassis paint? I recently saw one advertisid which had a nylon saddle insert specifically for this reason, but can't remember where. This would save messing around with bits of rubber or carpet to save chassis damage.
Rick,
I got mine from Halfords a few years back now, it was plenty low enogh to get under my old S which was lower than my Griffith.
For the cup i managed to source some tough rubber(easy Mungo) patches (3MS i think)and put them over the cup and tapped them down, also done this on my axle stands.
Also have heard of some people using a soft wood attached to the Cup aswell.
