Just discovered my Griff has a speedo disable switch - pull the dash air vent for zero, push the vent to resume. Hmmmm...now what possible use could that be ????

My speedo packing in for a while on my first Griff (4l). The gauge was the type that zero MPH started from the 1 o'clock position. I can remenber exactly when it happened:- I had been blasting down some A road in Lanarkshire, and as I slowed approaching a village, the speedo needle stayed at the 6 o'clock \ 80 MPH position. For a split second or so I was quite alarmed! Never did find what had caused the problem, and I think it cured itself. Marcus & Ocean Haze Griff 500

Does the mileage stop clocking up as well, limited mileage policy next time?
