Buckled !

Does anyone know if it is possible to have a buckled rear Griff 500 alloy straightened out to its original dimension?

Bought a couple of rears from a yard and one is buckled. You live 'n' learn ey......

I'd imagine this would encourage all sorts of metallurgical nasties, not the sort of thing you want in an item that connects you to the road and takes a lot of strain...

How buckled is the wheel? I had a set of 17" Azev alloys, from a Saab I had at the time, refurbished by Pristine near Milton Keynes a while back. 2 of the wheels were not completely round on the inner edge, and they were able to sort that out. they also re-finished the set to an "as new" state. Top job!
