Ted,I applaud you in your attempt at restoring harmony within the Griff and Chim community by uniting us on one forum.
Very UN.

Except that this should be the Griffith & Chimaera forum.

Come on Ted!

I can see this escalating to the European Court of Human Rights or needing UN intervention.

....OTOH you could view it as The Ultimate Fighting Competition where only one side walks out alive.

edited to say - it aint gonna be a fair fight as the chim owners outnumber the griffs somewhat

It's only to make the Griff boys and girls feel wanted. At least they won't have to organise meetings in phoneboxes any more.

Careful - we'll have Tuscan and Tamora merged next!

Ted - are we having new threads for T350C, T350T , T440, T440R ?

Nope, Tamora has become Tamora & T350

I guess I'll create a new forum for T400/T440 although noone seems to be discussing them much yet.

What you don't seem to have grasped, Ted, is the difficult explanation I am going to have to give when I go out into the car park in a mo.

How do you think my Griff is gonna take it when I have to explain that, whilst he is still three times as exclusive as the venerable Chimaer-ing colleagues of ours out there (and we will still and flash as as ever), we're now reduced to sharing the same thread?

Have a heart! I know it's gonna be difficult to explain. You're an owner yourself, you MUST understand the sensitivity of these beasts!!!!

Oh no, us Griff owners are going to have to trawl through pages of "where do I get smoked grey rear lights from?" and "can I fit a stainless front grill mesh?" type threads when all we want to read about is how to make our cars go faster! Rich...

WHY oh WHY oh WHY?
I've only had a TRV for about 6 weeks now, my first!
I read both forums, and I have very little knowledge of both marques. But it's nice to see them separate.
I know, even with my basic knowledge that they are basically the same, nether the less they are different in their construction. What applies to one model may not necessarily apply to the other.
Give us new boys a break Ted, keep em separate PLEASE!
No Funnies, No Avitars (smiley things) THIS IS SERIOUS!!!!!
Regards,
BigAl.

Sorry for the repetition. But I like them separate. I can then choose to look at the Chimaera forum or not, if I want.

Please reconsider Ted. Or I shall remove the PH sticker from my ChimaeraGriffith

Oh come on guys, it was the only logical thing to do. They are basically the same cars under their respective beautiful skins after all, and there is plenty of information given out for the Griffith that is equally relevant to the Chimaera, and vice versa.

I for one applaud the merger.

This is a pain. At least when they were seperate, there was some idea when someone said that their trunion had gone futtocked that you had some clue that it was a Griff or a Chimp but now it is insane. They are seperate cars. Yes there is a lot of simularity but also enough differences to make life just that bit complicated.

If you are going to reduce the numbers of forum, put the Chimps in with the Cerberas. After all they are exactly the same front and rear.....

Whilst there may be some ambigiuity on old topics, I've checked back through them and it's not difficult to deduce whether someone is talking about their Griffith or their Chimaera.

Guys, short of restoring from yesterday's backup there's no going back. Sorry, but that's the way it is.
