The back page of the TVRCC Regalia Brochure, sent with the current issue of Sprint, offers for sale a 'Cover for JSC plug'. The picture shows a small white 'box' mounted near the lower radiator hose of a Griffith (I think) and has a bolt going through the middle of it. Apparently you can get them for Tamoras and Tuscans as well.

Any ideas anyone?

Think it's the remote Jump Start cable conector and this must just be a end cap for it

JSC - Jump Start Connector.

You can buy something that permanently clips to the battery, and has a little connector (white thing) that you make sure you can easily get to. You then plug in a connector to that white plug and connect it to the mains.

The idea being that it saves digging out the battery if it goes flat. The little cover is to stop dirt getting into the electrical connector...

Ah yes - I've seen those beasties in other catalogues. Thanks for solving the mystery. Wonder how many owners will get them for Christmas and don't even have the 'JSC' fitted?!

Shame that TVR can't build accessible points into their cars to start with isn't it? My BMW has the battery under the back seat - yet BMW has thoughtfully provided a '+' terminal under the bonnet.

The Tamora has a JSC just behind the front passenger side wheel arch, so it's really easy to get to...luckily for me as my battery was as dead as a dead thing after I'd been away for a month. There's no cover for it so it can get full of crap, so I think I might have to get hold of one of these

If any one has a question on any of our accessories please contact us direct and we will be more than happy to explain about the product and it's suitability for a particular car.

JSC is the code for the JUMP START CHARGING group of accessories.

As explained the JSC 10 is a cover to protect the plug on our lead set. The Tuscan & Tamora both have the same system as original equipment with the cover fitted as standard. For these models it is a replacement for lost or damaged items.

JSC Plug is a pair of rubber and cork devices fixed to a headband.

They are designed for all those poor souls who can't abide Top Gear and the full title is 'Jeremy Sodding Clarkson' Plug - to be inserted in the ears.

You can always read press releases from T2000 instead if that's your cup of tea...
