I am amazed. Unfortunatley for me I got stuck on Saturday, in a horrendus traffic jam doing no more than 10 mph in the sweltering midday sun. And to my surprise, my Griff went up to 90 deg, the fans cut in and it hovered around 95 all the time. I was panicing a bit first of all and had visions of a molten blob aluminium dropping out the bottom of my car, but when the fans swithed off whilst stationary, I was most impressed and felt quietly confident. I was very hot in the cockpit, but would rather feel like that than be sat waiting for Mr AA man. The only thing I noticed was the oil pressure dropped to 7 psi at tickover, it did rise when the revs rose. So I presume this is acceptable. All fluid levels are normal. Any comments would be appreciated chaps.

I was stuck in a jam a few weeks back..hot day and that.. mine did the same..pressure dropped to about 10, but rose again once under way.. didn't seem to cause any problems.

This is all normal behaviour for a TVR/Rover V8.

Thats good then. I wont have to worry about jams and high temperatures anymore then. Although I would rather be crusing instead of being slowly chargrilled on a bed of leather. Thanks chaps..
