Apologies for posting I am sure a well worn topic. I have completed a search.
Can anyone tell me who is currently best for Griffith insurance-37 years old (me) 1996 Griff 6000 miles per annum NCB?? at least one depends on whether any new company will accept letter form ex-employers.
Currently with non TVR specialist as I changed mid-year
Any info appreciated

Sunninghill gave me the best deal with a very similar profile to the one you describe(of course I'm a bit younger though!). They took a letter from my employers too for the NCB.

Was quoted just yesterday on a 1998 Griffith 500, SG postcode, garaged, full NCB, 5000 miles/year, £500 excess, 37 years old, wife driving (30 years old) a total of £533!!!

This was with A. Manning.

Better than my current £700 odd pounds with Direct Line.

Direct Line did it for me - my chim 450 is now sub £500 (one of the benefits of getting old and wrinkly)!

Just goes to show you should always shop around for insurance. Direct Line just quoted me £1,260 for the Tuscan...

Have used Sunnighill now for the last two years.
I have unlimited milage, Free RAC breakdown cover, windscreen protection etc.
I have an excess of £500 on the policy and have just renewed it for the cost of £556.00 per year.
I dont think any other company could better this.
I aslo have 3 points for speeding.

Try A Manning (01491 578759)- good deals if you are a TVTCC Member. TVR Griff 4.3 BV on 3000 miles or less for less than £350

Sunninghill were best on the TVR for me this year (Mannings last year).

However, I didn't try elephant and they have just been really cheap for my commuter.

Oh well. I guess they are after the "careful" driver in the "low insurance group" car. Like Direct Line were when they started out.
