During my body off I noticed that several Nylon thrust Suspension washers were quite worn so decided to replace them.

CO192 is used on most of the bushes and is available from a couple of TVR suppliers priced from £0.95 to £1.78 each.

DO934 is only used on the rear top bush and is offered by one supplier at £2.59. These have the same outside diameter but with a larger inside diameter.

I thought that for single nylon washers these prices were over the top especially the DO934. But as they probably have to be specially made in small quantities maybe there is some justification.

Being mean I decided to buy a quantity of the CO192 and cobbled a jig to enlage the ID to match that of the DO934. The hole in the lid matches the larger OD of the DO934 and acts as a guide for a boring tool to enlarge the ID of 6 x CO192 washers trapped inside. A simple job in the lathe. I was pleased with the result.

I'm confused.
If you had material, and machining capability, to make the jig why did you not just make your own washers?

Very simple to just bore out existing washers a two minute job, a lot more effort to make the washers from scratch having to part off each one. There are quite a lot of the standard ones.
