What is the purpose of these two inputs under the Penum?

Should they have anything connected?

Thanks

Nothing needed to be connected.
I believe they are for colder climates to plumb heating.

Anti-frost heating plate for the throttle body, by diverting coolant out of the cooling system. As stated, they are fited for colder climates than ours (UK).

Not required and can be removed. You need to buy some grub screws or bolts to blank off the holes (apply PTFE tape or threadlock to the threads) as these holes are open to the throttle body / plenum. The bolts fixing the plate in place are too long and interfere with the throttle butterfly.

The redundant coolant pipework can be removed (if still in place - looks like a rebuild) and either straight joiners fitted to replace the Ts or renew the jointed pipes with new continuous lengths.

Thanks for all the answers.

But what puzzles me is to my knowledge nothing has ever been connected to them, perhaps if there was it became detached during the body off and I did not notice.

I am still having problems getting fuel into the injector rail:

Plenty of fuel in the tank, new fuel pump and fuel line fitted,12 Volts at the pump with the pump running pressure from the pump 6 Bar into the pressure regulator but still no fuel spilling when I try the release valve on the rail.

Likely to have been disconnected by a previous owner to neaten up the weird way TVR plumbed in the cooling system. I deleted mine on the Wedge to revert the cooling layout to 'Rover SD1' arrangement that self bled. Rather than the self vapour locking arrangement TVR spent huge time considering, designing and installing.

Do you have flow and return pipes the right way round?
Regulator is on the return.

Belle you are a genius! Many thanks You were right of course I had connected the high pressure fuel feed to the pressure regulator output.
.A case of senile dementia onset! I owe you a drink.

Actually the mistake did have some positives as in tracing the problem I found that the fuel feed hose had been pinched when lowering the body and with the pump running only 10 volts was reaching it.

Thanks again. Great Forum!

Bloody hell. I nearly mentioned that weeks ago but thought it would be the first thing you’d check
