Steering Rack Replacement

Hi I have a Griff 500 manual built in 94 on an ''L'' plate and I require a new steering rack (non power assisted). TVR want £470....is this a fair price? Anyone got any other sources for it ? Thanks very much GB

I got mine through the breakers 'request a part' link in the oily pages. Mine's a pas rack - dealer £1K (shove that), from the breaker £370. Guaranteed only for 30 days but it's fine since fitted. Can you not recon? I couldn't - too far gone

Try Raven Automotive, about £500 fitted incl full suspension alignment (Think fitting's a fair number of hours)
