Nearing the end of a body lift and its surprising how much I have forgotten about the initial set up.

The front top wishbones have two slots to fix the top ball joint, I cannot remember if the slots should be sloping down or up, I am tending to think sloping down as this will give the ball joint more travel but I could be wrong. Does any knowledable kind soul know the answer? I would hate to get it all bolted together and find that I had chosen the wrong option

Hi. Just found a picture from when I rebuilt my suspension many years ago. The fixing nearest the ball joint is higher than the back one. Regards.

There is also a slight fold point in one upper arm's side to allow it to not foul on the steering control column as it passes from the body to the rack. It is on both sides to allow for LHD cars.

Also forgot to add. The spacers are fitted towards the front of the car. Regards.

True. Sets caster angle.
Add more spacers if you want it to steer like an American Chopper biggrin

I seem to remember using slightly bigger washers as they only just cover the slots, but I might have just made that up
