Discussion
Hi everyone a long journey home last night in my 1992 griffith BV 40 miles in and came up to a roundabout came out the other side put my foot down and engine cuts out play with throttle engine restarts for the rest of the 100 miles the engine would stop and restart from time to time but the rest of the time ran really nicely crouse home 60 to 70 could do with some help please
It’s usually one of the terminals opening up and loosing contact!
Causes an instant loss of power. Often happens after going over a bump or shortly after a corner.
It’s easy enough to check by just grovelling under the car on the rear left and feeling the two wire connections directly onto the pump.
If one or the other is slightly loose use some long nose pliers to crimp it up slightly and re fit.
It’s just a good idea to check as it’s a simple and cost free repair if it is.
Discount the obvious and simple things first.
