Griff 500 preserp oil sender
Discussion
My car is a 1994 Pre Serp Chimaera 4.0, with I think the same gauges (gauges are white with a black metal bezel, oil pressure gauge is range 0 to 90 PSI marked 0, 15, 25, 30, 60, & 90 the fuel gauge has a low level warning light in it, no TVR logos in any of them apart from in the speedo and tacho.
When my oil pressure sender packed up I found it was TVR part number TVR N0115, bought from what was Racing Green parts LTD now MOTACLAN
Looking at your photo it certainly looks the same as mine, note when you fit the new sender the terminal marked G stands for gauge (Not Ground) so that's for the wire that goes to the gauge. The other is for ground wire if there is one, otherwise the sender is grounded through the threaded part through to the engine block, some people have connected a small ground wire from the main ground point on the outrigger of the Chimaera to the sender and have found the reading to be better, but the general opinion on these senders and gauges, is they were never very accurate from new !!!
Also be careful when removing the old / fitting the new sender, as on mine was a brass fitting which is a thread adapter for the sender threads and the threads on the oil pump housing as they are different sizes (I cannot remember the thread sizes) but as it is brass it breaks very easily if overtightened, part number was TVR N0069.

Thanks for the info.. your gauges sound like mine, found out they are VDO gauges which ETB supplied with TVR logo.
I tested the Gauge and it works on resistance. Full short produces “0” and 200ohms produces “90psi”
I didnt realise they use a brass adaptor so will be careful fitting it.
Cheers
