Door suddenly dropped - J Reg 4.3
When open, u can now lift it back up the dropped 2" (at end) and see the movement in the top door shut mounting
I have heard 2 opinions as to solution and seek further advice. One was pull back carpet on driver lower A pillar by pedals to reveal mount, and 'adjustment / mount can be tightened back up through speaker grille
Clearly, if practical, the speaker aperture is the least invasive - if this is the way, could someone kindly advise what we are looking for and how it is re-secured.
Was always fine then suddenly when re-opened, it just dropped - can easily be lifted and re-closed (no noises or obstructions)
thanks

How is doorcard removed, read somewhere that it's fiddly
A bit of searching, it's all been done and discussed before https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
It is not too bad to get the card off. There are 3 studs with 10mm nuts on. I use a 1/4 ratchet or ratchet spanner. There may also be a screw behind the ashtray although mine was missing. The screws for the reflector may also go through the door. Here is a picture of the inside of the door card so you know what you need.
