Hi All
I’m after a Drivers side rear light for my Griff, after a friendly lady decided to bump in to the back of me.
I suppose, on the positive side it’s only the light and not the complete rear end.

I know these are rather rare, any help in locating one would be appreciated.

Thanks, unfortunately these are the older type, I’m after the tinted version. Although this may be my only option.

If you put red tape over the hole to stop water getting in, you'll also be legal for even an MoT I think, until you can find one. Vauxhall specialist breakers would probably be your best bet.

Google would suggest that you have rocking horse poo. They are bespoke to the Mk3 Cavalier Turbo.

Might have to get crafty and see if you can fix yours from bits of a standard rear light.

Temporary repair kit on order.

You’re certainly right on the rareness, bloody typical.

Thanks. It’s certainly looking like I will need to buy the older version without the tinted section.

The tinted originate from the GSi model if unaware.

Suspect these are almost unobtainable now, they were pretty hard to find back in the day.

Perhaps a temporary solution would be a standard one as a couple of people have posted above, and a can of light tinting spray (if that still exists!), just applied to the orange indicator section?

Aargh - I need one of these too now, after a lady in a Cherokee bumped into me this morning frown Fortunately really slowly, and I have her details so I’m sure she will pay for it, and fitting if I take it somewhere suitable. Or maybe insurance if she prefers but that would seem a bit excessive.

Mine is also the rarer tinted version. Fortunately the damage is just a star crack so nowhere near as bad as the OPs here, and no marks on the body that I can see.

Does anyone know of any other sources? I have saved an eBay search. I really don’t want to be changing both lights to the lighter coloured version.

I finally found one, courtesy of Hans.

I feel for your pain. They are pretty rare.
