thinking of buying a warranty with Warranty Wise. around £1500 for 2 yrs cover of 1997 Griffith with Premier cover. Seems reasonable to me and they cover a lot of parts.
Any experience anyone??????
(bit worried after mate had £5000 of costs in 2 yrs Griff ownership!!)

This has been covered several times before - have a search for Warranty threads. My view is that warranties are designed to make the issuer money, therefore they will probably lose *you* money (like the lottery). But of course there is a chance that you have a major problem and might just *win*. Personally I'd rather keep the loot in the building society, bu that's only my opinion.

I agree with you in some ways, however, if there was a very expensive repair bill of say £5000 I could not afford it. I can however afford the £100 a month or so to have a fairly comprehensive warranty. I would just like to know if there are any other owners out there who have used and had success with the above company.

imho avoid warranty companies. if there is any excuse they can find to wriggle out of paying they will. esp if they can say it is down to wear and tear (which is anything that moves )

I recently extended my Warrantee Holdings policy for 2 years. I think it was only about £850 including breakdown cover.

My Chimarea has been pretty reliable, but I still managed to clock up £1700 on the policy in the last 2 years.
