My Griff has the metal spark plug shrouds fitted which are a complete bugger to remove.
Anyone fitted the ones currently on Motclan (EH 0142 SH).
I think the current ones won't come out in one piece so need some ready to replace them.
Cheers

They're not currently available I see (E0142 I presume you meant), the 'proper' ones:

There are several threads on here of the aftermarket ones not lasting very long before breaking down. frown Mine are Beru I think.

One of mine failed so I removed the ones from cylinders 1 and 2 (the HT leads reach without and the front 2 cylinders are least exposed to manifold heat), so I have one spare. It's probably best to budget for removing them all and covering the lead ends with heat-resistant boots / covers of some sort instead.

Ah, I see, I misunderstood, I thought you were after more metal ones. rolleyes

I've no experience of them myself but I'd have thought a search would reveal many threads on the heat 'socks' and their varieties, not necessarily Motoclan though, who are a relatively new company to stock TVR parts. If I have 1 more failure, I'll be after some myself. frown

The Op is the one who revived that thread.
