Seats changing the colours

Has anyone changed the colour of the seats thinking going dark grey ( light grey at moment) ordered kit from eBay after watching YouTube video looks easy enough ? Otherwise retrim cheaper option first and does it last appreciate some reviews thanks

There was a thread a few years back with someone who had recoloured there whole interior on a Chimaera with the Furniture Clinics products I'm sure if you search Chimaera and FC you'll find the thread. It looked fantastic. I contacted them about recolouring some MX5 seats I have fitted from dark to light and they said don't even try it, light to dark is fine though.
