Battery

Hi all,
Battery looks like it has given up the ghost.
Had to order an angle grinder as the previous owner had completely stripped the screw thread,and then used some sort of sealant to secure it, so although it's in the boot, still not straight forward to remove.
So, if the new battery charger doesn't charge the battery and from the 2 sides I can see there are no discernable makings, I assume it's quite old.
Will not be doing track days, will be doing lots of long trips as this is the first weekend since I purchased it in Jan 2022 it hasn't been out at the weekend. (just back from Le Mans) so not worried about weight. Just want something recommended by you guys.
Will make new housing in the boot for the battery from scratch. So not worried about size either.
Is ita halfords job if nothing fancy required?

Halfords are ok, Tayna batteries online also very good but you obviously need to know the size.

Since it's in the boot, it's not presumably the standard size. Tayna's website list all the battery types and their dimensions so with trial and error, you can at least find what battery you need, i.e. 078, 096 or whatever.

If you click on each battery size, you'll get the dimensions and terminal orientation etc.

Warning: Some batteries with the same 3 digit code are actually taller than each other (096 for example comes 175mm high or 190mm high), but the length and width will be the same.

Tayna is the way to go, cheaper even with +vat +p&p and such a bigger choice.
Choose a battery bought by Chimeara, T350 and Tamora owners who were all happy.
