Griffith 520 - blast from the past
Discussion
Hello Griffsters,
Many moons ago some of you, if you are a very, very, very long serving PHer, may have seen pics of my Griff 520 project.
Due to many reasons, some of which have to do with my international job, it has taken 14 years to get to this point. But she has been on the road for a couple of weeks now and I have enjoyed driving the car tremendously, even though she is not finished quite yet in terms of trim and hood,
Yesterday I hit a snag due to a coolant issue. I will start a separate thread about that to ask you knowledgeable people for some advice but I figured you wanted to see what the car looks like right now and didn't want to confuse the threads.
Some pics of last evening before I noticed my issue. I think she looks very good indeed and am very happy.
Cheers,
Onno

Thanks for the nice comments!
Roll hoops are custom welded by a specialist, directly to the chassis.
The wheels were on the car when I bought it, found by the previous owner. They are Technomagnesio wheels, 17" at the back and 16" at front. I also really love them, especially in the mid anthracite colour I chose.

I can't find those wheels on the interweb!
??
Neither can I. The previous owner put them on around 2005. I don't know the name of the model, sadly. They are likely not made anymore. Here's one that is similar but not the same; not available either. https://www.cambioruote.com/cerchi-lega/tecnomagne...??
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Very nice and some nice pictures of the Dutch mountains....
Cheers! I moved to the only part of NL that has hills in 2016, and there are some lovely roads here. Only 1.5 hrs from the Nürburgring and 1 hr from Spa, too. When I used to live near Amsterdam I never knew where to go for a quick inspiring drive - flat urban roads are boring as.Onno
