I need to replace the current brass/copper rad in my 1996 Griffith and the only ones readily available now appear to be aluminium.

I have been looking at the Radtech, Coolex and Motoclan offerings.

What experience have owners had with these or others .

Thanks!

Historically the ali rads used to crack as they don't have much flexibility compared to the brass ones, I'd imagine that still to be the case - I'm sure someone will say different, but this is what I found when looking to replace mine.

Have you thought about getting existing rad recored instead. This place did mine a few years ago. They do carry a stock of TVR rads so you can do either do an exchange or get them to yours. I got them to do mine as my rad has different mounting points for the fan to most (Single Fan), very quick turn around (I got mine back the same day) - also fraction of the cost of an ali rad
