Another year ahead.

MOT passed, ready for the Peaks to the Beach Run, then off for a Wales trip (Pertmeirion etc) then onto a Lakes tour,

Following on from last years NC 500.
Not bad for a 31yr old plastic bits of car put together by men in sheds in Blackpool Eh.biglaughbiglaughbiglaugh:

Now then Ken. Its red its a pass.
I get mine MOTd at Swales in Osmotherly. Are you still using the Billingham garage.
They get paid in pies not whisky. Handy for the use of a ramp etc.
Even she tells me i am to old to crawl on the floor.
Are you going to the Back to Blackpool for a ride up the promenade.
She said when else are you going to get the chance to drive up the promenade the wrong way.
Yeah shes a real rebel.

Yes Fred, the Blackpool trip is a big hopeful, just depends on any last minute family needs and requests.
We are hoping to stay over for the weekend. It should be a good event even if it's not allowed to be mentioned on TVRCC website.
It certainly looks like Blackpool Thunder are doing more to keep the marque in the public eye.

We are doing the Peaks to the Beach in 3wks with additional time in Wales and the Lakes.

Dropped my Griff off for its MoT test this morning as it happens. My once over yesterday discovered a loose rear bulb (n/s rear foglamp now working) and a rear o/s inner driveshaft boot beginning to perish. frown

May just get an advisory but nevertheless I'll have them all changed. There's a receipt for changing the o/s rear driveshaft boots in 2010 (but only 8k miles ago rolleyes), but not the n/s. scratchchin I can do most things myself, brakes, suspension, etc but I'm not messing about trying to change CV boots.....

I'd have been gutted if anything had turned up to fail it.
Just had the Outriggers replaced by X Works (Great Team) along with wishbones, bushes & chassis re paint along with new hoses, fuel lines all suspension re assembled and renewed where necessary, etc, etc.
