Please Help: how does the Targ roof attach to the body Grif
Discussion
Please help.
I am a relatively new owner of a Griffith 500 MY94. At some point the roof replacement has been botched. I would like to know how the rear of the Targa should be attached to the body. Mine is by a mixture m5 cap heads and self tappers though the leather band with penny washers and into the fibre glass.
This does not seem right but i have never seen how it should be?

The internal leather-work is seperate to the hood proper ...the hood fixes with M6 coach bolts hidden under the hood proper (from the outside you can perceive them under the surface of the material) and M6 nuts and washers are accessed via the boot. (the hoop bolts get undone R/L and struts into the boot, then there is an interior lamp loom). A@
