Anyone done it?

I think mine is on its way out. The fans didn’t cut in this weekend and when I bridged the connections at home it was a loose connector.

Have ordered a new otter switch and sealing ring and relay.

But looking at the swirl pot it doesn’t look easy to get a spanner or socket on it..

Below is obstructed by the Y piece front is the mounting bracket.

Does one have to unbolt th swirl pot and loosen the hoses?

If so, I’ll probably drain down the system and add in some new coolant. Which will irritate my neighbours when I try to bleed it all.

Yes I have. Just whipped out the switch and wound the new one in very quickly and lost about an eggcup of coolant. Once you have the old one loose it will undo by hand.

Did you manage to get a spanner on it, or did you have to move the swirl pot?
