Hi all. Have a 430 Griff and owned for a couple of years. The GKN diff was overhauled about 6 years ago and has been tight with no leaks. It is now leaking from all seals, and the back joint. I am sure it must be the breather being blocked as all the seals should probably not fail at once. I am looking for a common denominator.

My main question is should I be able to blow through it as I can’t. I have soaked it in brake cleaner and the cap is free to move but it will not pass air.

I am going to replace it temporarily with a flexi hose and filter on the end after cleaning up all the oil. It is a pain as I need to keep checking the level which always seems okay.

Grateful for your thoughts.

Thanks that is good news. The cap is free to move but I need to recheck the internal valve seat to ensure that is moving and that I can blow through.
