best ways to free stuck on clutch 4.3 (long lay-up)
Didnt respond to gettin v hot and driving with clutch down and alternating throttle and brake + both - left clutch pedal wedged down and left to heat soak first
Clutch fine before lay-up (20k mile original)
Somebody suggested (generic car) removing starter and directly prizing clutch plate from flywheel - access through holes in clutch cover
Clutch replacement seems massively over the top and hoping for solutions
Also looking for good indi / enthusiast mechanic in Kettering / Corby area to replace clutch cylinders + change rubber hose to aeroquip style to provide best release pressure (Master cylinder now failed through sitting - presumably need new seal kit at least)
Car in huge dry barn and can be put up on tall commercial stands allowing sit up positioning under car

I had this problem frequently in the Caribbean when laying a TR up for several weeks. Where the climate is much hotter and more humid than the UK.
If you jack up the rear of the car on axle stands and let the engine drive the back wheels with occasional braking it should after a while free itself.
It always worked for me.
