Nice to see a positive write up. They're wrong about the hood though I think. IME, and I've had 3 x Chimaera and a Griff, the hood doesn't leak along the top joint at all, despite its appearance. It's often due to the extending rubber seals by the door tops being damaged or the door seals themselves that have a tendency to leak.
Tony Gilbert stopped selling TVRs a while back and you'd think he 'd know it's the age of the car, not the number plate that dictates it's format. Black and silver plates on a 1997 car are illegal.
