Headlight covers

As my Griff is being painted fitting new headlights & perspex covers regarding sealant to seal pods then bond on car thinking of using Tiger seal or sikaflex. Are they much the same as a awkward job only want to do once and last advice appreciated thanks

I have always used sikaflex 221 from memory, best put the pods in and don't try to do the finishing bit until the pods are stuck then do the finishing.

Hello. When I rebuilt my pods with stainless lamp adjusters I used sikaflex also. For a really neat job I used 3M 471 lining tape. More flexible than masking tape for the curves of the pod. Regards. If you need the stainless kit partsfortvrs part No RG 157. My old plastic adjusters were seized and made no adjustment.
