Well having owned my last Griff in 2001 I’m back in a 500 again. i’d forgotten just what a hooligan of a car it is.

Anyone still on here from 20 years ago?

Yep, We bought our Griff 500 in 1998 from Team Central. Went to the Factory twice to see it being built.
Sold it two years later & lost a packet!

In August 2020 after 20 years without a TVR we bought a 97 Griff 500 from Mark @ Amore.

Crazy to say but the 24 year old car is more reliable than the new one ever was!!

Me too! Sold my Griff 500 in 2000, then had a 19 year gap until I bought a pre cat from Mark at Amore two years ago. Dom

Very close: Bought my first TVR (late '94, as in 31/12/94, serpentine engine model) in Nov 2001 and joined PH the month after. It was a 500, OK, OK it was a Chimaera....

Only kept a year but always missed its exhilaration. After a return to TVR in 2013, I've been through 2 x Chims and a Cerbera 4.5 but have had, for 2 months, a Griff 500, the car I should have had years ago.... I consider them to be like a 4 wheel motorcycle. I've 2 motorcycles too (CB650F and 125o Bandit) but the torque of the Griff is just as addictive.

Been reading PH over 20 years, but didnt register until I really wanted to post about something, which wasn't quite 20 years ago.

I have owned by Pre-Cat Griff since 2005, so "only" 16 years, but before then I had a 350i for nine years (had both for a year)

I bought the 350i in 1997, so that is 24 years of TVR ownership over two cars.

I bought the 350i around Easter and joined TVRCC on the same day. It renews in April. Next April I think I need a 25 years of Owning TVRs party. That is, owning TVRs half my life!!!!

I too recently returned to TVR ownership, my 4th, also a Griffith 500, 3 Chimaeras in the past.

I'm planning to do the NC500 in it in a few weeks but the weather may say otherwise.....

Sorry, I jumped ship for a 2016 rhd mustang gt convertible. But good on you . Had a 390se and then two 500. Ran the 390 and the first griff for a year, that was back in 1996. Despite problems, always got home. !
