Just fitted these yesterday. Cerbera MK1 seats.
Took me ages to source in the correct colour, full Leather too.

They look really nice.

I had them fitted as standard on my Chimaera (it was one of the last made) and found them a lot more comfortable and held me in place when driving with gusto.

The only downside was that they seem more susceptible to bolster wear as the bolsters are more pronounced and therefore more likely to be rubbed against.

Previous owner changed the seats to Cerbera ones before I purchased, so unable to compare, but I do find after a few hours driving, I'm not too sad to get out, seem to be at an odd angle when seated

I'd happily swap if you can't put up with the cerebra seats any longer!!

Andrew.

I was beginning to give up looking. People want silly money for seats that need fully restoring.
These were actually sat in a cupboard in a well known Northern TVR dealer. I just happened to mention while I was in the Showroom that I wanted some.
I couldn't believe they were the right colour & full Leather! although he did need some convincing to sell them.

Don’t the Cerb seats sit higher?

Maybe a bit higher, but at 5'6" that doesn't bother me!

They were fitted in the last 100 SE Griffs as they ran out of the standard Griff / Chim seats, so that keeps a little bit of Originality.

My head was brushing the roof with the standard seats so they’ll be no good for tall guys. They look good though.

Looks nice had a customer with a late MK3 with those seats in very hugging , comments about the bolster wear are true , stock TVR seats are bloody awful IMO not suprising looking at the construction

My stock seats are in almost perfect condition, but they just didn't fit my body well. Much happier with these.

Dilema now is do I keep the stock seats or sell them?

I would put them in the loft and fit them when you sell the car or at least have that option. Stock seats aren’t worth that much in my opinion.

Regarding the quality of leather in TVR’s, It is pretty appalling. My son has my old Mercedes ML320 with 165K miles. The full leather interior is like showroom condition. Absolutely perfect. Compare that to Low mileage TVR’s that you see with tatty interiors.
