I've only gone and done it
"G5LTR" is mine all mine
The better half loves it too and couldn't wipe the grin of my face all the way home.

Not sure if I will be able to wait until Friday to pick it up but boy will I enjoy the drive home.

It's not fair the clock has defintely started going much slower since I got home. Friday is not going to come round quick enough but the 100 mile journey home is going to be a blast.

Me too !!! just picked up my griff A5LVB today - started to post a new thread at 4 p.m but had to go back out for a bit more fun - I've already put more fuel in (started with half a tank) and i've rinsed it off four times cos of the rain. Almost lost it on a bend in the rain as well and just realised how cool the dash is in the dark. I'm sure the thrill will wear off eventually but I've got to say - even given the money - there is no car (tvr or otherwise) I would rather have. Ive already said it twice, but Ive got to thank cleggy for his help and advice and the rest of the ph'ers for their kind words. What a f'''''''""""****** car !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont know what the norm is but it must be a bit of a record with this many new griff owners at this time of year - for all of the new bods I know just how you feel !

I almost lost Griff number 2 pulling off the forecourt. Mainly due to some git in a landrover doing about 60 in a 30. Never catch me doing that!

Caught nicely mind you, my missus was following and said it all look rather controlled. Didn't feel like it though!

New ones great fun, seems to have a bit more midrange than the old one, but then I guess it's a newer engine.

Cheers

I am gradually getting used to it now !! Although I dont know if the rev counter isnt reading correctly. I cant seem to get it past 3000 rpm, even though it seems to be revving its genitals off - cant tell whether I am just wary of the power or the counter is under reading.

Tim, despite my inane grin that I can't get rid of I still envy you in that you are out there and using yours. I've got another 5 days of waiting

Mind you the weather down here in the south is prettydire at the minute and I would only be sitting in the garage drooling anyway.

Enjoy, roll on Friday........

Daryol hope everything goes ok for you, good luck, but dont expect to sleep better once you get it - you just lay in bed thinking about the next drive. Pretty sad really but true.

ARRGGGHHHHH, fingernails are gone and the calendar still says Sunday

You're right though there must be something out there in the air as when I was out earlier tonight I was tailed by a dark coloured (poss Mica Black) K reg Griff. It pulled off into Rangers Garage Durrington so if you are local to the area drop me line.

Thanks everyone for the responses but I think the biggest kick I'm going to get is when I pick my son up from school in the Griff, as he doesn't know anything about it yet!!!
