Hi , so I have this annoying banging from underneath the seats or towards the boot, it first started when I was stationary pushing the clutch down and selecting 1st tiny bump now it all the time like something is loose your thoughts please ?

I am thinking more underneath the car ? I replaced the diff and re bushed it with polly bushes so thinking could it be them and not the right bushes 🤷🏻‍♂️

Time to get underneath and look for loose bolts/ bushes/ brackets I’d say.
Pry bar and try to detect movement in prop uj’s and connecting bolts etc.

Also broken or loose exhaust fitting is an obvious possibility.

Perhaps ...look up rear ARB wishbone brackets (Mk1 versions and Mk2 version) Mk1 versions snap...an easy fix folding up new ones (they are sold too) A@

When I changed my diff bushes I noticed a slight knocking under acceleration seemed to be beneath drivers seat on further inspection enough though they weren't loose retighten diff brackets especially the top one going to the frame also replaced gearbox mounts ( LT 77 gearbox now sorted
