I'm always confused about the correct types of tire for my TVR but am due to replace the rear tires shortly. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the 245/45R16 Nankang As2+ 94W. I even get confused by the label wondering what the 94W means.

Id be grateful for any advice on the types of tires . I don't push the car to the edge ( don't have any brave pills) but am very used to having no abs or traction control. I've driven many old sports cars from 365 Ferraris to XK 120's and they all have to be treated with respect . The last sports car i had was a 68 e type and it was quite tame compared to the Griff which i love for the rawness of it. However it is quite quick and wonder about these tires as they seem a bit cheaper than others with that profile

I don't know the tyre you mention but I will say the Griff can be problematic with mixing differing makes to front and rear.

Just put on a full new set of the best tyres you can get in the correct tyre size.
