After being TVR-less for almost 2 years, I've plunged pack in with both feet. I got badly burned by a purple Cerbera 4.5 (mostly a 3 time attempt to sort out the clutch) so did MUCH more research and asked many more questions this time. I've had 3 x Chimaera before so problem areas are essentially the same.

Having previously owned a Chim 500 as far back as 2001, I've been loath to spent essentially 50% more for a Griff that has the same engine, but hey, what the hell. A recent diagnosis (myeloma) has changed my perspective. It's very treatable, thankfully, and after months thinking it was my hip (it's NOT so I can still have a manual gearbox, and ride bikes smile , it's changed my perspective. Oh of course, a photo :

Taken on the A701 near Moffat on the drive home. Stopped for one of those 'breaks.' rolleyes Monsoon conditions on the M6 over Shap proved the Rainsport tyres do their thing. I was unsure about the non-original wheels at first, but my insurance company was happy since they didn't require any body mods and the tyres aren't any wider (no extra premium), so I am too. smile 39k miles from new.... Aftermarket Gaz suspension all round too.

That's my old Griff. I put the wheels, suspension and new dash on it. Lovely Griff, I had it for around 4 years.

Great to hear from you. smile I've seen all the invoices that came with it, it seems to have been well treated by all its owners.

The fact so many parts were recently new like t he suspension, wheels / tyres and hood helped my decision to buy it. So many of them are still on original dampers and springs. Don't get me wrong, I like the Estoril wheels, but I like these too. smile

I replied to your email, but for some reason it wouldn't send. The car is the original colour, Sapphire Black metallic.
I gave the guy a small bottle of touch up paint, when I sold the Griff last year. I was amazed when I went to Halfords and gave them the colour code, that it was spot on.
