Achieving a better boot fit
Discussion
In the two months that I have owned my Griffith, I seem to have developed an unhealthy obsession with the alignment fof the boot.
This is my third TVR and I’m realistic enough to know not to expect Lexus levels of panel alignment but I’m sure that it must be possible to achieve a better fit.
In particular, the passenger side of the boot sits high when compared with the rear wing.

I’m afraid of fiddling about and making it worse, so before I pick up the spanners has anyone any advice (other than it probably came from the factory like that!)?

Hi,
I did also have the same issue on my 95 griff 500. It appeared to be a default in the boot seal. For an approximate length of 20 cm, instead of being hollow , the boot seal was plain rubber with no compression possible. This was preventing the boot to stay « horizontal ».
