tvr owners - need your help

hoping someone here can help me out with some quick tech info on TVR's

what i need to find out, is the diameter and thread type on the top of the gearstick on a Griffith - so that I can order a griff gearknob...

if anyone would care to pop out to thier car, whip the gearknob off and measure it - that would be very helpful.

yes.
this thread was for real. but it doesnt matter now, as someone already measured up a Griff gearstick for me, and a new gearknob was ordered.

(p.s incase you are wondering why the hell I needed to know this - its because I dont have a Griff, but do have a caterham 7 - and happen to think a Griff gearknob would look splendid on it.)
