Now it's a bit warmer I need to address a fuel leak the Griff developed before winter. I think it's leaking around the area the return pipe joins with the tank. With the tank empty and the tops bolts on the strap out, if I tilt that tank slightly to get behind it, how likely am I to disturb the outlet pipe ?
Thanks.

If it’s the same as the Chim you will have to remove the filling swan neck by undoing the jubilee clips and slipping it off at the tank to get much movement.
The filler pipe at the bottom should flex/ move enough to tilt it back to check your return hose is not split or hanging off.
Much beyond that it’s best to drain it and remove the bolts at the bottom.
