Afternoon all,

Last weekend I dismantled the front suspension of my 1999 Griff 500.

I managed to extract the old bushes with nothing more complicated than a length of studding and a couple of suitable sockets. All well and good so far. It was only when I started looking to order up replacement bushes that I realised that there are two sizes.

A number of the well known stockists quote two types C0200 and D0104 stating that the bush at the rear end of the upper wishbone should be a single D0104 with the rest being C0200's, still with me?

On my 1999 car all the bushes are of the same size. (I'm only talking about the front here)

The description of the part from one of the suppliers is as follows for the D0104 part: -

Wishbone bush used both front and rear. Upper rear wishbone bush 1 per wishbone all TVRs from Griffith and Chimaera onwards. There is also one of these bushes on the front upper wishbone on later cars on the rear mount position. On both applications it is paired with a TVR C0200 bush in the other location.

I think the description is in error when it says "later" cars it should really mean "earlier".

Anyone confirm.

Regards,
Brian and Green Griffith 500

I have an original TVR Chimera/Griffith Parts Catalogue intended I believe for the early cars.

Front wishbone bushes are detailed as C 0067

Rear upper wishbone bush D0104

Presumably all other wishbone bushes both front and back are C0067 with the exception of the top rear bushes as D0104 is the only other one listed.

No doubt some on here will have the definitive answer.
