I had to remove a door trim to get access for re-aligning the glass to the top seal yesterday. Although I've done this before on the other door I didn't remember such a job reaching the trim stud in the centre of the arm rest. If it saves anyone else some grief, sit on the ground instead of the door sill, once I did this I was easily able to reach the stud through the speaker hole. For reference on my 96 Griff there are 2 M6 studs in the arm rest, another in front of the speaker and 2 self tappers, one behind the top ash tray/tweeter, and one behind the red reflector. I hope this saves someone the rashered arm experienced before I spotted this. Please wear a long sleeve, there are a lot of sharp bits of fibre glass in there.

Thanks - good description. I also need to realign the glass as it is a little high at the back. A good description of that would be appreciated.

The glass is supported centrally, with the window around mid position, if you loosen the 2 bolts on the support the glass can be levelled. The support runs on a track, worth a smear of grease whilst accessible, and an open sided tube containing the drive worm, also worth lubricating. At the top of the drive worm tube, just below the brush on the top of the door is an allen screw which adjusts the height of the glass, this is accessible with the glass lowered to the bottom.

Thanks for that. Next job once I get the suspension back on.
