Can anyone post where is best to jack a Griffith up from and where to place axle stands please?

Each winter when I SORN mine, I always jack up on the main chassis rails and place the axle stands under the main chassis rails each side. It's tricky to do the rear but I always succeed in the end. It should be ok to use the corner plates of the outriggers but I prefer using the main chassis.

See my post and picture of the lifting beam I made. The vertical tabs on the end are just so I can locate it in the rear mounts of the lower wishbones.

Saw that. Looks good smile

Am only intending doing this once (!) though. But from that photo I can see putting axle stands under the rear will need a bit of precision smile

My Sealey Rocket Lift jack came in handy for this. It's an old beast with quite long reach. Weighs a ton so is a pain in the arse to manoeuvre. But it did the job allowing me to pick up on the main chassis rails - just!
