Accelerator Spring

While dismantling the accelerator the small coil spring flew out so I am unsure how it reassembles.

Does this small spring act to add tension to the 2 large return springs or does it act to oppose the 2 large springs?

Any help appreciated

Do you mean the spring on the throttle shaft.

Yes, it assists.

Thanks Simon and Alex and your Holiest. just what I wanted.

Changing the rocker gaskets and re-routing the steel water pipes has turned into a much longer job than I had envisaged.
