I intend to equip my Griffith of an audio installation with active crossover.
I got back of my previous Taimar three amps to feed my Focal speakers.
What is the best place to install the amplifiers. Under seats ? I think it is not a enough dry and safe place.
Maybe in the boot, along the internal wings to preserve room for the roof.
Has anybody an idea on this subject? Thanks

I've been looking at this myself. Problem is that most of the spaces in the boot that would be suitable for a good sized amp are not big enough to fit one in, or interfere with putting the roof in.
I've decided on fitting one above the fuel tank (have a look at the 'Infinity' range - they are slim enough to fit there) to drive the F & R channels, with another elsewhere for a sub. I still haven't decided where the sub amp should go.
I looked at fitting amps into the the space above the rear wheel arches, but mounting them looked to much of a PITFA as every surface is curved (the wing in 2 dimensions).

My Griff 4.0 had a Nakamchi amp fitted centrally above the fuel tank with a CD autochanger to the right of it. Not caring for bonkers audio I took the autochanger out, but left the amp as (a) it was rather heavily wired in and (b) it didn't get in the way.
My current Griff has the autochanger behind the passenger seat, bolted through the floor. Handy as you can change CDs from inside the car (if you like that sort of thing), and pretty theft-proof as it's hard to spot, and I gave up trying to remove it after 20 mins!

If you've ever lost a pound coin (ok, a euro) down under a Griff seat then you'll know you need the services of a small child to retrieve it, kind of like the Victorian chimney sweeps
