Hi,

Mines beyond the PTFE and sellotape refurb/improvement i've read about on here, so what is available these days?

As can be seen in the view of the back an attempt to make it better has been done in the past.

Cheers

I could have sworn I'd seen new ones for sale but Racetech only have the Chimaera ones. You could cut them up to make you own maybe?

https://www.racetechdirect.co.uk/tvr-parts-search....

Or they must know where they can be had?

Hi Mark,

I'm a regular ebay searcher, they would do the job. I'll keep looking.

Could you find something like this in a scrapper and make something out of it?

Well in the end I had a few made by my local Sign shop they came out well, second photo, made like this borrowed photo example, but mine had rounded corners I think, It was last year Doh.

It looks like I have lost my spare sticker and after talking to the Sign shop, yes they have the file for another run but asked if the icons would be wanted to appear transparent or whitish as in the above photo.

Does anybody have an answer, ie what were they like when new, the one that was on originally appears transparent and to be honest I hadn't noticed when the new stickers were made.

Merry (stay safe) Xmas

I'd say transparent - on mine you can barely see the symbols unless lit.

That's something to consider, maybe that was TVR's intention. Hidden until lit up.

Petegriff here on Pistonheads has made these in the past, I bought one with the new dashboard I bought from him.
He may still have some or can get more made if enough people want them.

Here is a link to the thread.

Hope this helps.

Brian.

Finally got a reply from the sign shop about a re-run. They are going to try transparent icons/symbols and do a run if that works, but if they can't they will do a run of the translucent ones.

Hi guys, as R8FUN states, I actually remake these. Developed CAD file couple of years back and have them made 'in appearance' like originals but better quality. Everyone who has one of my bespoke dashboards also spec's a new Indicating Panel. I like to keep stocks for my dashboards but can spare one, please PM me. Regards, Pete
