Door mirror adjustment not working and relay(s) in the control unit are chattering so I assume the mirror ECU is broken. Opened up the box and there's 4 Siemens relays soldered into a simple PCB. Rather than waste time unsoldering/replacing relays (and they might not be the root cause of the chattering) I've decided to replace the whole unit. Looked at the TVR Parts site and they only supply a reconditioned unit which they call ME0270R however their pricing is a bit confusing as they list the part at £73 and then specify a surcharge of £60. Is the surcharge returnable if the broken unit is sent to them or is the surcharge for something else? Better still anyone out there have a working box they'd like to sell at an incredibly low price?

That's correct, you get the surcharge back when they have received the old unit
