Does anyone know where I can source a pair of original 15" front wheels for a Griffith 4.3BV? They are the spoked split-rim alloys originally fitted to this model, and no longer manufactured by OZ. The wheels are pictured on my car at http://www.programmatica.demon.co.uk/Griffith43BV_0005.JPG Thanks. Nick Britzman.

Thanks for that Phil. Yes they look very similar but unfortunately the smallest listed size is 16" and I need 15". Oh well... Cheers. Nick Britzman.

Aha... I dug around a bit more on the same web-site and found another wheel which is perhaps an even better match and they do it in my size :-) http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/pages/dm_page.html I'll have to investigate. Cheers Phil.

Sounds like an ideal time for an increase in diameter with a lower profile tyre

I'm no tyre expert but don't lower profile tyres lose lateral grip quicker than a higher profile tyre? Or rather with less warning. The Griffith is scary enough in that department already. I love the look of low profile tyres though. Perhaps I should put some on my "normal" car!

don't know bout that but I have enormous levels of grip at the moment from 215/40x17 front, 245/40x17 rear, loads of feedback, enough for oversteer when you want and great in the wet

How do they effect the ride?

I didn't have the car for more than a week before changing them so I can't be definite, but there is no more harshness than before and it tramlines less!
