Hi Griff owners - I have an S and a fellow PH'er is selling his steering wheel. I have tried to find out whether this will fit straight on the S and it apparently won't. I know I have a Ford Escort Mk4 steering rack and can buy a Momo boss to "convert" the size to take a Momo wheel. Is it right that the Griff wheel is Momo and therefore will fit my S with a Momo boss?

The Griff wheel is by Personal. The boss is almost identical to Momo, apart from one annoying difference: the hexagonal arrangement of the 6 mounting bolts is rotated by 30 degrees

The good news is that you should be able to find a Personal boss to fit your steering column though.

I thought that the Griff wheel looked identical to the S, are you sure it's not a straight swop?

The S uses a Personal wheel as well.

Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure S3's onwards had Momo steering wheels just like the wedges.

Earlier S's had steering wheels that looked to me like Mountneys.

I too have a Griff steering wheel which I couldn't fit onto my wedge's mounting hub.
I never did get round to finding the appropriate one.

Now I'm on the lookout for 300mm Dia Momo with an aluminuin spokes and a black leather rim if anybody has one

The S series like most TVR's used a variety of wheels. Mine is a Momo fitting for instance and therefor would need another boss.

I know other S's which have 12 point fixing rather than 6 aswell. Although I do not know the manufacturer.

I thought it was Momo Personal? Like Momo the make and Personal the brand?

Both my V8S and my previous S3C had Personal wheels fitted.
