Spotted for two consecutive mornings now...

Dark Green Griff... beautiful growl... had hood up this morning... N-reg, with a smaller than standard front number plate... going from Basildon to Billericay (seen at 07:19 today)... large rear wing on the back.

Anyone here?

Oh no. Griffs must now be in Max Power price territory. It's the beginning of the end...

Got the N-reg bit and the three numerals, but not the last three letters... didn't want to post too much for fear of upsetting someone.

The rear wing was a tall (maybe even slightly above the roof line) job with black struts and a bare metal wing part... think GT racer style...

Thankfully no one has responded so probably not a PHer. Any chance of you posting a piccy?

I'll take the digicam out tomorrow morning and sit in a bus stop....

"distinctive" was to ensure that I did not offend a potential fellow PH'er...!

If I'd written "f****g awful spoiler spotted on a Griff"... I might have pissed someone off..!

I was told at a young age to learn from my mistakes...! Lets just say there has been more than one example of "foot in mouth"..

Actually are you sure it wasn't a bike rack?

Yep... hence the reason I checked... I first saw the car in question yesterday morning, but waited until I'd seen it today to confirm!

This Guy lives a few roads away from me. The rear wing appeared a couple of weeks back. I think his son is into Go-Karting in a big way. Maybe he has now moved on to Sprinting the Griff. Can't see how a huge alloy wing would help with that. IMHO and I'm being tactful here, I think it looks "a bit strange"......

Sounds like you had better take a wide angle lens to fit that wing in!

Perhaps we could get Leven to make one...might be a useful place to store the roof when you need that extra bit of boot space!!!

All you would need is the two uprights allready bolted in position on the rear and then when you take the roof off turn upside down and attach to uprights with a quick release mechanism
