ooh - Suits Youuuu, Sirrrrrrrrrrrr...

Oooooooo!!

This is bad news! On Sunday I nearly fell in love with one of Hawthorn's Tamoras - Green through Violent, you know the name for the colour, "cascade" I think. Now I am approving of a green Griff!!!

beano1197,

I too had a sit in the very same Tamora last saturday... very nice it was too. I'm still a little put off by the plastic bits in the tamora, I like my wood and alu. I actually preferred the black one next to the cascade with the yellow and black interior... striking! That said, did you see the Tuscan out the back in reflex paint - purple, gold and green(?) mix...

arthur dent, that is a nice machine. enjoy.

Very nice, and yup it looks black, which is the same as my Starmist Blue, it looks black most of the time, but everynow and the it catches the light right and looks great.

BTW: are the dials on your car green?

Na... no need for an optician, Mr Dent was far too excited with his new toy to even notice the green tinted dials...

Your passengers will find the tan dash a useful feature on bright sunny days when you are trying to scare them

They won't be able to see through the windscreen!

Nor will Mr Stroud!

Enjoy the Griff and take care!

must get some of those special camera shy numberplates you have on it - even the ford focus does not reveal its details - ideal for those sneakey speed cameras!

Why do people cover up their reg numbers? Hundreds of people must see them every day?

I wouldn’t publish my plate on the web, it’s just increasing the chance of some unscrupulous character cruising the web looking for a car the same colour/model etc to theirs, then racking up speeding fines/parking tickets using your plate leaving you to explain yourself… the web is an easy place to find this e.g. for something like a Griffith which you may not see on the road from day to day.. o.k. so there’s a lot of Foci on the road to choose from, but I’d rather be safe..

It’s also not a good idea to give away where you regularly leave the car, a place of work etc.. just opening yourself up for someone to pinch your motor.. (Worst case scenario)
Hence most 'Was it you' type treads in web forums banning full number plate posting etc..

Seeing as Arthur hasn't replied yet ... "get on-line mush !"

My elbow grease, that's where that shine came from.. arm like a lobster ... no comments on where that came from..

Na, honestly, we used Zymol on some areas, good for getting rid of any superficial blemishes.. then as we run out of Zymol, finished off with that Turtle Wax teflon wax (comes in a green bottle)..

I highly recommend Zymol, now not too expensive, Halfords sell it for £11.99 last time I looked.. a bit harder work than the Turtle wax though.. (£6.99)

Cheers..
